# 8.2 The Graceful Pause and Circuit Breakers

Foresure integrates **Economic Circuit Breakers**. If the Equilibrium Engine detects an anomaly—such as a 90% price swing in 1 second without a corresponding oracle update—the specific market is placed in a "Graceful Pause." This allows the DAO's dispute resolution mechanism to intervene before malicious actors can withdraw funds.
