# 4.3 The Decentralized Court and Jury System

In the rare event of a disputed outcome or an ambiguous event (e.g., a sports match cancelled due to weather), Foresure activates its **Decentralized Court System**.

This is not a centralized committee but a "Crowdsourced Jury" of token holders who are randomly selected based on their reputation and stake. These jurors review the evidence provided by both sides and cast their votes. To ensure the integrity of the court, we use a "Schelling Point" mechanism: jurors are rewarded if they vote with the majority and penalized if they vote with a minority. This encourages every juror to vote for the most "obvious truth"—the outcome that they believe everyone else will also recognize as the truth.
