# 2.2 Peer-to-Contract (P2C): Solving the Liquidity Gap

Foresure fundamentally abandons the P2P order book model in favor of the **Peer-to-Contract (P2C)** paradigm. This is a critical shift in how liquidity is perceived in the prediction space.

In a P2C model, the smart contract itself acts as the "Infinite Counterparty." When a trader enters a position, they are not waiting for another human being to take the opposite side. Instead, they interact directly with a Liquidity Vault. The contract mints "Outcome Tokens" based on the trader’s collateral and the current mathematical curve of the market. This ensures **Instant Execution**. Whether you are the first person to enter a market or the ten-thousandth, you can execute your trade immediately without waiting for a counterparty to appear.
