# 2.1 Modular Core and Isolated Collateralization

Foresure utilizes a highly modular architectural framework designed for maximum security and infinite scalability. At the heart of the system is the Foresure Kernel, a suite of smart contracts that separate the logic of trade execution from the custody of assets.

One of our primary innovations is **Isolated Collateralization**. In traditional finance, a collapse in one sector can lead to cross-contamination. On Foresure, every market is its own cryptographically isolated vault. The liquidity provided for a geopolitical outcome in Western Europe is technically and financially segregated from a crypto-native market on Bitcoin’s network upgrades. This isolation ensures that the protocol remains resilient even in the face of "Black Swan" events in specific sectors.
